The Water Bottle - Part 1

It was a high profile academic meeting hosted by a prestigious college. A well decorated stage was set up and chairs were arranged accordingly.
The audience arena was equally well arranged except that the walk way towards the stage was congested. But nobody felt a problem with this . People were busy talking, obviously well mannered. But it was evident that it was all a show off. Several well dressed people were present for the meeting and the young scholars were busy impressing the high profile professors and teachers there. Young scholars were enthusiastic and were also in hope to get into the research if they could impress the professors.

Then there came an announcement from the backstage that the meeting and the scheduled presentation may begin within fifteen minutes and it was also announced that the chief guests were asked to take their seats on the stage.
People stopped talking. They were in a rush to take the best of the seats.
Chief guests were proceeding to the stage.

At this time a man was showed up at the door of the seminar hall.

He was an average looking man with black hair and deep set gaze. He was tall and wheat brown. He was wearing an Ivory colored shirt and pants and an black blazer above it. He didn't tuck in the shirt inside his pants though. He was calm and quite. He was quite surprised at this hullabaloo in the venue. His lips had a tiny smile that left unnoticed. He had a laptop bag in his shoulder and his other hand carried two transparent water bottles which had enough water. He waited for the people to take their seats. The meeting was about to begin. So he was stepping in slowly. Amidst the walkway towards the middle of the audience' row, a group of people were waiting to get into their seats. This man started walking towards them in a hope to take the seat somewhere there. As he was walking, He slowly started to open the water bottle as he thought he would take a sip as soon as he take a seat. He reached towards the crowd. Unfortunately since the walkway was congested and there was already a crowd, a woman since, she was rushing to get the seat, hit the man in his hands which carried the water bottle. The man had made sure that he was in a safe distance to avoid such accidents. But the rush created the mess. Water spilled all over. Everyone looked at him as if he is so disgusting. Chief guests stood up in their chairs and people passed comments saying how ill-mannered he is, to open up the bottle there, and spill water all over their good clothes. And they made comments on how education never teach people the basic manners. Passing these comments they took their seats. He didn't say anything. Rather he listened to all these things silently. As the last person too took the seat, there left only a single seat towards the left end of the row. To get to that seat, one has to go through the 9 others who is sitting in that middle row, as there was no walkway kept towards the left and right ends of the hall. He took a deep breath and was walking towards that seat passing through the 9 others. There was hardly little space for a person to walk through. And everyone was staring at him for doing this. People were like cursing him. Even the chief guests were impatient as its already a few minutes late. All the people of the gathering hated him by that time. Somehow he managed to reach the left end and made his seat. The meeting began. One seat on the stage was left unfilled. That was the seat of the key note speaker of the day. Everyone was waiting for his arrival. But since they can't wait for long they began the meeting, so that others can complete their speech until the keynote speaker arrives. while everything of this was taking place , one person in that hall was so worried. It was Mr. Roy , The professor whom everyone trusted with this meeting, The one who arranged the key note speaker for the day!
